Please welcome Mark Buchholz to the UCR Library.

Mark Buchholz joined the UCR Library as the Digitization Services Specialist on March 7. In this role, Mark focuses on expanding the library’s digital collections by digitizing and preserving research materials, and building the library’s digitization capacity for the future.

Mark began his library career at the University of Miami Libraries in 2005, working in various positions related to digitization. He left Miami in 2016 for a brief stint at the Balboa Park Online Collaborative in San Diego before accepting a position as the Digital Production Lead at the Claremont Colleges Library in 2019.

Mark completed his Masters in Library Science at San Jose State University with a specialization in the Digitization and Preservation of Cultural Heritage Materials.
